You Don’t Need to Have All the Answers

If perfection is a myth, why do we keep trying?

If perfection is a myth, why do we keep striving for it? There’s nothing wrong with trying to improve yourself, but often, this focus is mainly on the physical self. Despite compliments from friends, family, and teachers, do you still find flaws in yourself? Do you ever feel like an imposter?

Our physical appearance changes as we grow, yet certain things remain uniquely ours: our bodies, faces, arms, legs, and hair. So, how can you work towards loving yourself a little more?

Born this Way. Uniquely You. Ready to Go.

Take a moment to ask yourself out loud: What about these circumstances makes me feel like an imposter? Then, try this exercise:

  • Say your name out loud three times: Name, Name, Name.
  • Ask yourself: What would Name, Name, and Name do?

Embrace the journey of self-acceptance and give yourself permission to be perfectly imperfect.
