Turning to Your New Perspective

Turning to Your New Perspective

Can you take a life detour?

Have you ever asked yourself: “Can I take a life detour and go down an unknown path, even without a certain outcome?” You might have heard people in your life—friends, family, significant others, or teachers—say: “When you know better, you’ll do better.” The question is: How willing are you to take that first step toward making a life change?

What Can You Do?

  • Physically Stop: Whatever you’re doing, stop. Say out loud: “STOP.” Then spell it out: “S-T-O-P.” Hear yourself saying it.
  • Acknowledge Your Fear: Say out loud: “I am scared.” Hear your voice. Let yourself acknowledge and process the fear.
  • Visualize Progress: Picture the parts of your body working together—your mouth, tongue, vocal cords, and brain. Imagine them forming the words: “I will go forward, not back.
  • Speak Your Mantra: Say it out loud: “I will go forward, not back.” Repeat it daily, especially when you feel unsure or unclear.
  • Write It Down: Journal your thoughts and fears. Reflect on how you’re moving forward. Practice using this mantra to center yourself and stay focused on your new perspective.

Remember: Life’s unknown paths often lead to unexpected growth. Take that first step, embrace the detour, and trust the journey ahead.
